WOW.  Prices down today    50 gallons down 6 cents.   Down across the board.  That is a good thing.  Going to fill the tank up soon.  There is a silver lining.

well,  good.  Prices are down again today.  Getting closer.  Hope it keeps going down.  That will be a sliver linging for sure.

Well, the President met with the oil company leaders today and promised them financial payments to off set their losses during the pandemic.  Geez, they really needed that.

SO, of course the prices we pay went up again.

Stock Market went up 1600 points today   thanks to (supposedly) stimulus checks going out, and loans etc supposedly being ready to help business owners etc.   So naturally (immediately) heating oil prices,  and probably gasoline prices went up.  This is a small jump,  I am hoping it gets below 2 dollars and then I will fill the tank.  If it does not,  I will fill it anyway at the reduced prices we are seeing currently.

Well, our quarantine/shelter in place/stay home stay safe continues.  10 million people have applied for unemployment in the past 2 weeks.  People are out of work.  Despite Trump and the Republicans dumping Trillions into the stock market, promising to rescue big business,  stock market is still falling, oil is at record low prices for crude.  Heating oil and gasoline prices are falling  but not nearly so fast as crude prices.  I have noticed historically that when crude prices go up,  gasoline and heating oil prices rise immediately.  Sometimes several times a day.  When the prices drop,  the gasoline and heating oil prices drop  very slowly.
