Well, today is a mixed bag.  Best Oil heating oil price dropped .  Larsen/Discount/first Call McCall has gone up.

the stock market close on Crude Oil and Heating oil closed up from my last post which sadly was a week ago.  I will try to do better.  🙂

A mixed bag today,  some up some down.  Heating oil at my favorite, is down.  For those who are interested gasoline also dropped a smidge today.  I bet it does not drop at the pump.

Hope oil prices continue to trend down.

well, today was a better day for the oil prices.  Down across the board.  Unfortunately the reason , I think, is because there was a report today by leading economists who said of people who have been unemployed for more than 6 months, only 11% will find full time employment.  That does not sound very good.  AND they further stated that the reason the unemployment numbers look better is because many of the long time unemployed have reached retirement age, or simply quit looking.  Sad but true I fear.

i do hope the price for heating oil and gasoline continues to fall as that will be good for all of us folks who actually work for a living and have to pay for things as opposed to those who run the oil companies, destroy economies with greed and pillage the pockets of the average citizen.

So it has been a while since I posted.  The market has been up and down quite a bit.  Hopefully the prices will continue to show a downward trend price wise.  That is what I always hope and it is very seldom the case.

The prices are going up.  Prices dropped during the last month, rather significantly for investors and oil companies.  Strangely (said she facetiously) the prices at the pump did not drop anywhere near as significantly.  Stock Market prices dropped about 10 dollars a barrel.  The price at the gas pump went down about 20 cents.  Heating oil prices did not drop but about half that much.  Now the price has gone up 4 dollars a barrel in the last several days and lo and behold the price at the pump (both gas stations and heating oil prices) are on the rise.  heating oil is up 6 cents as of today.

Larsen / Discount/ First Call seems to lag behind in changing prices.  I anticipate the price will rise in a day or two.  Lets hope the price reverses it self and drops again.
