Shortened D loop – 2013 Dominator

by on Jun.10, 2013, under Bow Changes

A couple weeks ago I tightened down the d loop but that made it about 1/8 inch too long. I loosened it up today, pulled the end through on the bottom not, clipped it off and remelted the end. I did not check it on the draw board but I measured it on the T square and it is 1/2 inch LNG as it should be.

It feels better this way. I do not have to move my head forward to get my nose on the string.

I also angled the back bars down one notch to see if it would improve aiming.

Tiller Adjustment – 2013 Dominator

by on May.12, 2013, under Bow Changes

I worked on the tiller today, bringing the bottom limb in about 1.5 turns. When it ended the bottom limb was in 1/4 cm compared to the upper limb. Chris Sent from my iPad

Anchor change

I made a small change to my anchor last night, so that the knuckles on both my middle and index fingers straddle either side of the point of my jaw bone. I think this might help to eliminate or at least reduce tipping the release at different angles.
