Pumpkins 2013

We finished up our pumpkin carving tonight, with a grand total of 27 jack o’lanterns. I think they turned out excellent! Thanks to everyone who came and helped: Joel & Sarah; Jim, Jamie & Camden; Alan; Marcie & Brett; Miranda & Kyle; and then of course Mom, Maure and Shannon. Here is a peak at this years crop, and I’m sure there will be more to come after the big night tomorrow!

I think this year was one of the best ever, if not the best one ever. The yard was up and ready much earlier and so we were able to enjoy it for a nice long time. The pumpkins were great, even though we had to work double time to get them done, we did it. We got them carved Tues and Wednesday and did not have to carve on Halloween as we have in past years. It was a neat holiday season, and now the pumpkins are gone, the decorations coming down, and the Christmas is going up. Thanks Chris for a neat neat season. It all looked great. Your vision was extraordinary and it was just fantastic.
